Kell's for New Years seems like a jolly good time. Thanks, Rotch! Tickets are $20 and they go on sale new years eve. There is a band line up that looks to rock your pants off. That excludes John because the plaid pants are a juggernaut. Pints, pints, cigars, jigs, balloons, pints, jigs etc. -2006, out!

http://www.oregonlive.com/policescanner/

You can listen to the police scanner from The Oregonian's website. The link is above. The reason I looked for some police updates is that one of my co-workers pulled two cops from a ditch today on his way into work. There is no story up yet, but I will post it when it comes. They apparently hit a telephone pole and went off the road and had the car half submerged in water. When my co-worker pulled one of them out of the ditch he fainted right away. That would have been a shitty Christmas for thier families otherwise.

Hello Transplants / Natives

Nice to see another little Web Community alive and kicking, and what a great name! I've been using blogger for a while and all I have are complements & praises. I've yet to migrate any of my administered blogs to the new blogger beta but I know there are lot's of improvements. Also in case we haven't been formally introduced... I'm kinda of an internet nerd (use firefox!). It's been a while since I've visited the Pacific Northwest, but perhaps I'll be up there soon... last time I was there I didn't have a digital camera, so if I come across a scanner in the next few months I'll definitely post some pictures of Jared and I chill'n in Seattle or along the Oregon coast.

Also if your interested, check out my flickr photos and my old-school blogger profile... Looks like I've got another site to link to.

One more discussion note... anyone there score a Wii? A friend of ours has one and it's a blast... Wii bowling rocks... check out this flickr group of Wii action shots.

Beta Blog vs Blog

Don't be confused and sign into the blog. Make sure you are signing into the beta blog

Welcome to Transplants & Natives

The natives did it! Justin was the inspiration and Colby named it. Please have your friends join this blog and contribute. This is our website so lets make it a good one. I'm no blogging expert, but my friends in Columbus started one 4 years ago and it is a really great tool to keep track of what's up and look back and see what we did. There are no rules or theme to doing this, so add whatever you want. This really works best if more people are involved. Take a tour when you first sign up. There are plenty of nerdy things it can do like keep track of photos with flikr and you can even participate with your phone. This is all google based, so you know its good. I'd recommend signing up for gmail too, but you don't need to now. For an example of the other blog I've been using since 2002, go here http://eglobao.blogspot.com/

I'm at work right now, so I don't have many pics on my computer, but here is a pick of my new office (7th floor) just so you can see an example of including a pic.
